Stripe Integration for Calendars – BizStackPro Help

BizStackPro Calendar Help Guide

Stripe Integration for Calendars

Connect Stripe to BizStackPro and enable calendar payments so clients can pay for consultations, services, deposits, and other appointments during the booking process.

Quick Answer

How do you accept Stripe payments through a calendar?

First, connect Stripe under Payments → Integrations. Then edit the calendar, open Forms & Payments, enable Accept Payments, enter the booking amount, currency, and charge description, and save the calendar.

Stripe Calendar Payments Overview

Stripe integration allows you to collect payments directly through a BizStackPro calendar booking flow.

This can be useful for paid consultations, service appointments, deposits, classes, and other bookings that require payment before an appointment is confirmed.

The setup has two main parts:

  1. Connect and configure Stripe inside the Payments area.
  2. Enable payment collection inside the individual calendar.

If either part is incomplete, the payment step may not appear or the calendar may not process payments as expected.

The gateway connection and calendar setting are separate

Connecting Stripe does not automatically add payments to every calendar. You must also enable Accept Payments inside each calendar that should collect a fee.

Before You Begin

Confirm that you have the access and information needed to configure the payment connection correctly.

  • Confirm that you have access to the Payments module.
  • Confirm that your user permissions allow you to connect payment gateways.
  • Have the correct Stripe account credentials available.
  • Decide which calendar should collect payment.
  • Determine the booking amount and currency.
  • Prepare a clear customer-facing charge description.
  • Review any other payment gateways connected to the account.
  • Confirm whether the calendar allows recurring appointments.
  • Plan to complete a test booking after setup.

Step 1: Connect Stripe to BizStackPro

Stripe must be connected to the BizStackPro account before it can process calendar payments.

Open Payments

From the left-hand navigation menu, open Payments.

Open Integrations

Select the Integrations area.

Select Connect with Stripe

Locate Stripe and click Connect with Stripe.

Sign In or Create the Connection

Follow the Stripe authorization prompts and sign in to the Stripe account that should receive calendar payments.

Authorize BizStackPro

Approve the requested connection so BizStackPro can process payments through the selected Stripe account.

Confirm the Connection

Return to the Payments integrations area and confirm that Stripe appears as connected.

Manage Stripe Payment Methods

After connecting Stripe, use Manage Payment Methods inside BizStackPro to control which supported payment options are available.

Depending on the account and product area, payment methods may include options such as:

  • Credit or debit card payments
  • ACH or other supported bank-payment methods
  • Additional Stripe-supported checkout options

Manage payment-method availability inside BizStackPro

Payment-method changes for BizStackPro product areas should be made through the BizStackPro Manage Payment Methods controls rather than changing them only inside Stripe.

Step 2: Enable Payments in a Calendar

Once Stripe is connected, enable payment collection in the calendar that should charge customers.

Open Calendar Settings

Go to Settings → Calendars.

Select the Calendar

Find the calendar that should collect payment and click its pencil icon to edit it.

Open Forms & Payments

Select the Forms & Payments tab.

Enable Accept Payments

Turn on the Accept Payments setting.

Enter the Booking Amount

Add the amount the customer must pay during booking.

Select the Currency

Choose the currency that should be used for the calendar payment.

Add a Charge Description

Enter a clear description that helps the customer recognize what the payment is for.

Confirm the Default Gateway

If multiple gateways are connected, confirm that Stripe is the selected default gateway when Stripe should process the booking payment.

Save the Calendar

Click Save to apply the payment settings.

Add a Clear Charge Description

The charge description helps customers understand what they are paying for during the booking process.

A useful description should identify the appointment, service, or deposit without using vague wording.

Clear Description

Use wording that identifies the service or appointment.

Example: Initial Consultation Booking.

Unclear Description

Avoid generic wording that does not explain the charge.

Example: Payment.

Reduce customer confusion

Leaving the charge description blank or using unclear wording may make it harder for customers to recognize the transaction.

Set Stripe as the Default Payment Gateway

BizStackPro can have more than one payment gateway connected, but calendar payments use the selected default gateway.

If Stripe should process calendar payments, verify that Stripe is set as the default gateway before testing the booking flow.

Only the default gateway processes the payment

Connecting Stripe does not guarantee that Stripe will process calendar payments when another connected gateway is selected as the default.

Stripe and Recurring Calendar Payments

Recurring appointments allow customers to schedule multiple appointments as part of one booking process.

When using Stripe with recurring calendars, partial payments are not supported.

Review the payment structure before publishing

If a recurring calendar requires payment, confirm that the full payment setup matches the booking structure before sharing the calendar.

Supported Payment Gateways for Calendar Bookings

Stripe is one of several payment gateways that can be used with calendar bookings in BizStackPro.

Stripe

Can be connected and selected as the default gateway for calendar payments.

NMI

Compatible with calendar payments but does not support the Classic Widget or Service Menu.

Authorize.net

Can be used as a compatible payment gateway for supported calendar-booking payments.

Razorpay

Compatible with calendar payments but does not support the Classic Widget or Service Menu.

Square

Compatible with calendar payments but does not support the Classic Widget or Service Menu.

Widget compatibility varies by gateway

Razorpay, NMI, and Square do not support the Classic Widget or Service Menu. Review the calendar display method before choosing one of these gateways.
