How to Add Sub-Affiliates in BizStackPro

Grow your affiliate network by assigning sub-affiliates, managing their status, and enabling signup links inside the affiliate portal.

Quick Answer

What Is a Sub-Affiliate?

A sub-affiliate is an affiliate who joins your program under another affiliate. They remain part of the same affiliate campaign while allowing you to build a multi-level referral structure.

BizStackPro allows you to assign sub-affiliates, manage their information, activate or deactivate them, and provide affiliates with signup links directly inside the affiliate portal.

Adding Sub-Affiliates Without Breaking Your Affiliate Structure

You may want affiliates to recruit additional affiliates, but it is not always obvious how sub-affiliates fit into your existing affiliate program.

Sub-affiliates are connected to a parent affiliate within an affiliate campaign. They do not create an entirely new affiliate program—they follow the campaign structure and commission rules you have already configured.

If sub-affiliates are not configured correctly, affiliates may not receive proper credit, signup links may not appear, or the overall program can become difficult to manage.

This guide explains how to add sub-affiliates, manage their records, enable signup pages, and give affiliates access to recruit additional partners.

What You Can Do with Sub-Affiliates

BizStackPro allows administrators to create and manage hierarchical affiliate relationships directly inside the Affiliate Manager.

Sub-Affiliate Features

  • Assign affiliates beneath an existing affiliate.
  • Add existing contacts or create new ones.
  • Edit sub-affiliate information later.
  • Activate or deactivate individual records.
  • Delete sub-affiliates when necessary.
  • Enable self-service signup links.
  • Allow affiliates to recruit additional partners.

Before You Add Sub-Affiliates

Verify your affiliate campaign before creating sub-affiliates.

  • Your Affiliate Manager is already configured.
  • The affiliate campaign already exists.
  • You know which affiliate will become the parent affiliate.
  • You have contact information for the new sub-affiliate.
  • You know which campaign the sub-affiliate belongs to.

How to Add a Sub-Affiliate

Open Affiliate Manager

Sign in to BizStackPro and open the Affiliate Manager.

Marketing → Affiliate Manager

Select the Parent Affiliate

Locate the affiliate that will own the new sub-affiliate relationship.

Open the affiliate record before continuing.

Open the Sub-Affiliate Tab

Select the Sub-Affiliate tab inside the affiliate record.

Click Add Sub-Affiliate.

Select or Create the Contact

Choose an existing contact or create a brand-new contact record.

Assign the correct affiliate campaign, then save the new sub-affiliate.

Review the Assignment

Confirm the new sub-affiliate appears under the correct parent affiliate and campaign.

Setup Tip

Before saving the record, double-check the selected campaign. Incorrect campaign assignments are one of the most common causes of reporting confusion.

Managing Existing Sub-Affiliates

Edit

Use the three-dot menu to update names, email addresses, company information, or campaign assignments.

Deactivate

Mark a sub-affiliate as inactive when you want to preserve the record without allowing additional activity.

Delete

Remove the record completely if the sub-affiliate should no longer exist within the affiliate program.

Enable Sub-Affiliate Signup Pages

BizStackPro allows affiliates to recruit additional affiliates through dedicated signup pages. These pages must be enabled as part of your affiliate campaign configuration.

Enable During Campaign Setup

While creating or editing an affiliate campaign, navigate to the final campaign setup step and enable the Sub-Affiliate Sign-Up Page.

Select the Signup Form

Choose the form that new sub-affiliates will complete.

At minimum the form should collect:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address

Save the Campaign

Save the updated campaign so the signup page becomes available for affiliates.

Default Campaign Option

You can also enable sub-affiliate signup pages globally under Affiliate Manager → Settings → Default Campaign Settings so future campaigns inherit the same behavior.

Affiliate Portal Access

Once sub-affiliate signup is enabled, affiliates will see their recruitment tools inside the Sub-Affiliate tab of the Affiliate Portal.

Depending on your campaign configuration, affiliates can:

  • Access their personal signup link.
  • Share the signup page with potential affiliates.
  • View recruited sub-affiliates.
  • Monitor their growing affiliate network.

Best Practices

  • Assign each sub-affiliate to the correct campaign.
  • Review campaign settings before enabling signup pages.
  • Keep signup forms simple to improve conversions.
  • Deactivate affiliates instead of deleting them whenever possible.
  • Regularly review parent/sub-affiliate relationships.
  • Test the signup process before inviting affiliates to use it.
  • Document your commission structure for affiliates.

Common Mistakes

  • Assigning the wrong campaign.
  • Not enabling the signup page.
  • Using an incomplete signup form.
  • Deleting affiliates instead of marking them inactive.
  • Forgetting to test the signup link.
  • Not explaining the program to parent affiliates.
