Custom Reply Address – BizStackPro Help

Custom Reply Address

Direct replies from your outgoing emails to a dedicated inbox (like support@ or help@) so the right person sees responses—without changing your outbound sending behavior.

Routing Replies to the Right Inbox Without Changing Your Sending Setup

You may be sending emails from one address, but the replies don’t always need to go back to that same inbox.

A custom reply-to address lets you control where responses are delivered so the right person or team sees them.

Without proper routing, replies can be missed or end up in the wrong place.

This guide will show you how to set a custom reply-to address so your email workflow stays organized and responsive.

Once you understand how custom reply-to addresses work, follow the steps below to configure routing and manage replies effectively inside your BizStackPro account.

What a Custom Reply-To Does

A custom reply-to address changes the inbox where people’s replies are delivered. Your outbound email still sends normally, but replies go to the address you set (for example, [email protected]).

Important: When you use a custom reply-to address, replies may not appear in the Conversations thread. Make sure the reply-to inbox is monitored.

Steps to Add a Custom Reply-To Address

  1. Open Settings in your BizStackPro dashboard.
  2. Click Email Services.
  3. Open Reply and Forward Settings.
  4. Enter your desired Reply-To email address.
  5. Click Save to apply the update.

Follow along: Settings → Email Services → Reply and Forward Settings → add Reply-To → Save.

When to Use a Custom Reply-To

  • Support workflows: Route replies to a shared support inbox.
  • Sales handoffs: Route replies to a rep’s inbox after outreach.
  • Team monitoring: Ensure a group inbox receives customer responses.
  • Separation of roles: Send from one identity, receive replies in another monitored inbox.

Best practice: Use a reply-to address that matches your workflow (support@, help@, sales@) and set up forwarding/rules on that inbox if multiple people need visibility.

What This Does Not Change

  • It does not affect outbound delivery. Your emails still send as normal.
  • It does not add extra recipients. It only changes where replies go.
  • It does not create contacts. Replies going to a separate inbox won’t automatically generate contact records by themselves.

Want cleaner workflows for customer replies?

BizStackPro helps you centralize email + conversations so the right team sees responses fast and nothing slips through the cracks.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when I set a custom reply-to address?

Replies are routed to the custom inbox instead of appearing inside the Conversations thread.

Can I use multiple reply-to addresses?

Only one can be active at a time. You can update it anytime.

How do I change or remove the custom reply-to address?

Go to Settings → Email Services → Reply and Forward Settings, update or remove the address, then save.

Does this affect outgoing email delivery?

No. It only controls where replies go.

How do I ensure replies are monitored?

Make sure the reply-to inbox is actively monitored by the responsible person or team (and consider forwarding/rules if needed).

Keep Replies Going to the Right Inbox

A custom reply-to address helps you route responses to a dedicated inbox for support, sales, or team monitoring—while your outgoing emails continue sending normally.
