Without a clear structure, courses can become disorganized, difficult to follow, and harder to sell or scale effectively.
This guide will walk you through how to create and manage a course from start to finish so your content is organized, accessible, and ready for learners.
To begin, it helps to understand what you’re building and how the course is structured inside the platform.
What You’ll Build
BizStackPro Memberships lets you create courses using a proven structure (categories + lessons), add assessments, customize the learner experience, and sell access using offers.
Follow along: Start with a simple outline: 2 categories + 3 lessons each → then add an assessment → then create your offer.
Step 1: Go to Memberships → Courses
In your BizStackPro account, open Memberships from the left sidebar, then select Courses.
Step 2: Create a New Course
- Open the Products tab inside Courses.
- Click Create Product.
- Choose Start from Scratch or Import from Kajabi.
Step 3: Choose a Course Type
Select the structure that matches how you want to deliver content:
- Sprint Course — short, quick courses
- Marathon Course — longer, in-depth courses
- Membership Course — recurring or subscription access
- Build Your Own — fully customized course
Pro tip: If you plan to add content over time, choose Membership Course or use Drip Mode so learners don’t get overwhelmed.
Step 4: Structure Your Course
- Create Categories to organize your modules.
- Add Lessons/Posts under each category.
- Reorder items with drag-and-drop to match your teaching flow.
Example: Category 1 = “Getting Started” → 3 lessons. Category 2 = “Implementation” → 3 lessons. Then add a quiz at the end.
Step 5: Add Content (Media, Downloads, Drafts)
- Edit each lesson to add a title and body content.
- Upload files, embed videos, or add URLs.
- Attach downloadable resources (PDFs, worksheets, templates).
- Keep lessons as Draft until you’re ready to publish.
- Add thumbnails to help learners scan quickly.
Follow along: Build your first full module (Category + 3 lessons + attachments) before you create your offer. It helps you price with confidence.
Step 6: Add Assessments
- Select Add Assessment in your course builder.
- Create multiple-choice or single-choice questions.
- Set correct answers and define a passing score if needed.
- Review learner results inside the Assessments area.
Step 7: Course Details & Branding
- Add a course Title and Description.
- Include your instructor details, logos, and favicon if needed.
- Add custom CSS or tracking codes when required.
Step 8: Customize the Design
In the Customize tab, you can align the learner experience with your brand.
- Edit theme, fonts, backgrounds, and layout options.
- Choose colors that keep text readable on mobile and desktop.
Step 9: Create an Offer (Sell Access)
- Open the Offers tab.
- Click Create New Offer and set pricing.
- Choose free, one-time, or recurring pricing.
- Add promo codes/discounts if needed.
- Optional: set access windows (start/end dates) for cohorts or launches.
- Save and set the offer to Published when ready.
Pro tip: If you run cohorts, set a future start date so people can buy early but access unlocks on launch day.
Step 10: Publish & Share
When everything looks correct, click Publish. Then copy your course link (or offer link) and share it with learners.
