Structuring Your Membership Content So It Makes Sense
When building a membership, it’s easy for content to become scattered or unclear, especially if categories, lessons, and structure aren’t planned from the start.
Categories act as the framework for your membership, organizing content into structured sections using templates or custom setups so everything has a defined place.
Without clear structure, members can struggle to navigate content, which leads to confusion, lower engagement, and incomplete courses.
This guide will walk you through where categories are managed, how to create and edit them, and how to structure content so it stays organized and easy to follow.
To begin, it’s important to understand where categories are located and how they’re accessed within memberships.
Where Categories Live (Navigation)
In BizStackPro Memberships, “categories” are typically managed through the Products area where you create and structure your membership course product.
- Go to Memberships → Courses.
- Open the top dropdown and select Products.
- Click Create Product to build a new category/product—or click an existing product to edit.

Choose a Template (or Build Your Own)
When you create a new product/category, you can choose a template that matches the type of experience you’re building.
- Sprint Course: Best for short, focused content.
- Marathon Course: Best for longer, multi-module content.
- Membership: Best for ongoing access and regularly updated content.
- Build-Your-Own: Best when you want full flexibility from the start.
After choosing, click Start Building to open the builder.
Add Details, Posts, and Status
- Name & Description: Keep names clear and benefit-driven.
- Status: Set to Published, Draft, or Drip Mode.
- Thumbnail: Add an image so the category/product is easy to recognize.
- Add posts: Add posts/lessons inside the builder or from the category’s main page.
- Save: Click Save after edits so changes apply immediately.
Pro tip: Use Draft while building, then switch to Published when you’re ready to enroll members.
Add Audio Files to Lessons
Audio lessons are great for on-the-go learning and accessibility. BizStackPro supports the following formats: MP3, AAC, and WAV.
- Upload audio inside the lesson section of the course builder.
- Playback speed: Learners can adjust speed for a better listening experience.
- Thumbnails: Audio thumbnails are pulled from the lesson thumbnail image.
Best practice: Pair audio lessons with short bullet summaries so members can skim before (or after) listening.
