Create & Edit Posts in Memberships

Add lessons and resources under your categories. Title each post, write the content, attach supporting files, set a thumbnail, and save.

Turning Categories Into Actual Lessons

After setting up categories, the next challenge is knowing how to actually add content in a way that feels structured instead of scattered or incomplete.

Posts are the individual lessons or resources inside each category, where you add titles, content, files, and supporting materials for members to follow.

If posts aren’t clearly structured or consistently created, members can lose track of progress, skip important steps, or disengage from the content entirely.

This guide will walk you through how to create and edit posts so each lesson is clear, focused, and organized within your membership.

To begin, start by opening the product and category where your posts will be created or updated.

Open Your Product & Category

Posts live inside your membership product under a category. To create or edit posts, start by opening the product you want to update.

  1. Go to Memberships → Products → All Products.
  2. Click the product you want to update.
  3. Open the category where you want to add or edit posts.

Follow along: If you see a blank post placeholder under a category, that’s your quick “new post” starting point.

Create or Edit a Post

Use the Edit icon to open the post editor—whether you’re creating a brand new post or updating an existing one.

  1. Click the Edit icon next to the blank post (or next to an existing post).
  2. Add your post content:
    • Title (short + descriptive)
    • Body (lesson content, instructions, or summary)
    • Attachments (PDFs, worksheets, slides, etc.)
    • Thumbnail image (helps learners scan quickly)
  3. Click Save to publish the updates to that post.

Pro tip: Keep each post focused on one objective. If a lesson gets long, split it into 2–3 posts and link them with a “Next lesson” line at the bottom.

Quick Quality Checklist

  • Title: Clear and scannable (avoid vague titles like “Lesson 1”).
  • First 2 lines: Explain what the member will accomplish.
  • Attachments: Named clearly (e.g., “Worksheet – Buyer Persona.pdf”).
  • Thumbnail: Consistent style across lessons for a cleaner look.

Want members to finish more lessons?

Strong titles + focused posts + helpful attachments make your course feel easier—and that improves completion rates.
