Without a way to measure understanding, gaps in learning can go unnoticed, and it becomes harder to improve both your content and your members’ results.

This guide will walk you through how to create and manage assessments so you can track progress, reinforce learning, and gather useful insights.

To begin, start by creating an assessment and choosing the type that fits your course.

Create an Assessment

Go to Memberships → Courses → Products and open a product.
Next to the section title, click the plus (+) icon and choose Add Assessment.
Enter a Title and select the type: Assignment or Quiz.
Add instructions, attach supporting files/templates, and add an optional confirmation message.
Publish to make it live, then preview it as a member.

Follow along: Build the assessment first (title + type), then come back to add files and settings before publishing.

Create a Quiz

Open Memberships → Courses → Products and select your product.
Click the plus (+) icon next to the section title and choose Add Assessment.
Select Quiz, add a title, then click Save.
Add a pass/confirmation message and optionally require a passing grade.
Add questions (single-choice or multiple-choice) in the quiz builder.
Publish and preview to confirm the experience.

Pro tip: If you require a passing grade, members can still learn from feedback (correct vs. incorrect) without immediately seeing the correct answers.
