BizStackPro Campaign and Workflow Help Guide

Viewing the Deliverability of Messages in Campaigns

Review who received, opened, clicked, replied, bounced, or unsubscribed from a Campaign message so you can identify delivery problems and improve future follow-up.

Quick Answer

How do you review Campaign message deliverability?

Open the Campaign, select the date range, and click Show Detail beneath the message step you want to review. BizStackPro displays metrics such as Total, Delivered, Opened, Clicked, Replied, Bounced, and Unsubscribed. Click a metric number to view the contacts included in that category and use Export to download the list.

Understanding What Happens After Messages Are Sent

Sending a Campaign message is only the beginning of the follow-up process.

Deliverability reporting helps you understand whether messages reached contacts, whether people engaged with them, and whether delivery or list-quality problems need attention.

Without reviewing this information, it can be difficult to tell whether low results are caused by the message, the audience, the call to action, or failed delivery.

The report can help answer questions such as:

  • Were the messages successfully delivered?
  • Did contacts open the message?
  • Did contacts click the included link?
  • Did contacts reply?
  • Did any addresses bounce?
  • Did contacts unsubscribe?

Campaigns have been replaced by Workflows

BizStackPro’s Campaigns feature is deprecated. This guide preserves the legacy Campaign reporting process. For new automation, use the reporting and message-performance information available for the corresponding Workflow actions.

Before You Begin

Identify the Campaign, message step, and reporting period you want to review.

  • Confirm which Campaign contains the message.
  • Identify the specific email or message step being reviewed.
  • Choose the reporting date range.
  • Confirm that the Campaign has processed contacts during that period.
  • Decide which metric is most relevant to the question you are investigating.
  • Decide whether the contact list needs to be exported.
  • Plan how exported contact data will be used before downloading it.
  • Protect exported contact information according to your normal data-handling process.

Understand the Campaign Metrics

Each metric describes a different part of message delivery or contact engagement.

Total
Meaning: The total number of message attempts included in the selected report and date range.
Delivered
Meaning: Messages reported as successfully delivered to the receiving system.
Opened
Meaning: Contacts whose message was recorded as opened.
Clicked
Meaning: Contacts who clicked a tracked link in the message.
Replied
Meaning: Contacts whose response was recorded as a reply to the message.
Bounced
Meaning: Messages that could not be successfully delivered.
Unsubscribed
Meaning: Contacts who used the unsubscribe option connected to the message.

Read metrics together

One number does not explain the entire result. Review delivery, engagement, replies, bounces, and unsubscribes together before deciding what should change.

View Message Deliverability

Open Campaigns

Open the legacy Campaigns area in the BizStackPro dashboard.

Select the Campaign

Open the Campaign containing the message step you want to review.

Choose the Date Range

Use the date-range selector, commonly located near the top-right area of the Campaign.

Find the Message Step

Locate the email or applicable message event whose performance you want to inspect.

Select Show Detail

Click Show Detail, commonly displayed near the bottom-right of the message step.

Review the Report

Review the deliverability and engagement metrics displayed in the opened report, tab, or window.

Choose the Correct Date Range

The selected date range controls which Campaign activity appears in the report.

The original page notes that the default may commonly show the last ten days.

Recent Troubleshooting

Use a shorter date range when investigating a recent send, delivery issue, or Campaign change.

Broader Performance Review

Use a longer range when comparing overall performance across a larger group of contacts.

An empty report may be a date-range issue

Before assuming the Campaign failed, confirm that the selected period includes the dates when contacts reached the message step.

View Contacts Behind a Metric

Metric totals can be opened to identify the contacts included in a specific category.

Choose the Metric

Select the category you want to inspect, such as Opened, Clicked, Replied, Bounced, or Unsubscribed.

Click the Metric Number

Click the number displayed beside the metric.

Review the Contact List

A pop-up or modal displays the contacts included in the selected metric.

Confirm the Category

Verify that the opened list matches the metric you intended to review.

Contact-level reporting makes the metric actionable

The total shows how many contacts performed an action. The contact list shows who those people were so you can investigate or plan appropriate follow-up.

Export Contacts by Metric

Open the Metric Contact List

Click the number beside the metric you want to export.

Review the Contacts

Confirm that the list represents the correct Campaign, message, date range, and interaction type.

Select Export

Click the Export button in the contact-list window.

Save the Download

Download the exported contact list using the available export process.

Label the File Clearly

Record the Campaign, message, date range, and metric in the filename or accompanying notes.

Protect exported contact data

Store and use downloaded contact information only for legitimate business follow-up and according to your normal privacy and data-security procedures.

Practical Ways to Use the Reporting Data

Clicked
Possible meaning: The contact showed interest in the linked next step.
Possible action: Review the contact for appropriate higher-intent follow-up.
Opened but Did Not Click
Possible meaning: The subject or sender encouraged an open, but the message or call to action did not lead to a click.
Possible action: Review message clarity, length, offer alignment, and CTA wording.
Replied
Possible meaning: The contact started or continued a conversation.
Possible action: Review the reply and continue with relevant human follow-up.
Bounced
Possible meaning: The receiving system could not successfully accept the message.
Possible action: Review the contact information and list quality before future sends.
Unsubscribed
Possible meaning: The contact chose not to receive future messages through that subscription relationship.
Possible action: Review audience alignment, message expectations, relevance, and sending frequency.

Treat behavior as a signal, not a complete conclusion

A click, open, bounce, or unsubscribe can help guide your review, but it should be considered with the message, audience, timing, and Campaign purpose.

Review Message Performance in Workflows

Use Workflows for new BizStackPro automation builds.

The original source documents the legacy Campaign Show Detail process. In a current Workflow, use the reporting information available for its email, SMS, or other message actions.

  • Identify the Workflow and message action.
  • Choose the reporting period.
  • Review delivery and engagement results.
  • Inspect contact-level activity when available.
  • Compare the results with the Workflow’s trigger, timing, and audience.
  • Test changes before applying them to a larger audience.
  • Do not assume the reporting screens are identical

Campaigns and Workflows may present message reporting differently. Use the reporting controls available in the automation interface you are reviewing.

    Troubleshoot Campaign Reporting

    No Metrics Appear
Check: Confirm that contacts reached the selected message step.
Check: Confirm that the date range includes the message activity.
    The Numbers Look Too Low
Check: Review the date range and confirm that the correct Campaign and message step are open.
The Contact List Does Not Open
Check: Confirm that you clicked the metric number rather than only the metric label.
    Export Is Empty or Incomplete
Check: Confirm the metric category and reporting period before exporting again.
    A Reply Is Missing
Check: Review the contact’s conversation history and confirm that the response used the expected message channel.

    Campaign Deliverability Best Practices

    Review the Correct Date Range
Reason: An incorrect period can hide activity or combine unrelated sends.
Action: Match the date range to the Campaign send being reviewed.
    Review Each Message Step Separately
Reason: Different steps may have different audiences, timing, and results.
Action: Open Show Detail for the specific message being evaluated.
    Investigate Bounces
Reason: Repeatedly sending to invalid or unreachable addresses can weaken list quality.
Action: Review bounced contacts before future sends.
    Follow Up on Replies
Reason: A reply represents an active conversation rather than only a reporting number.
Action: Review and respond while the inquiry is still current.
    Use Exports Purposefully
Reason: Exporting data without a defined use creates unnecessary files and privacy risk.
Action: Export only the contact category needed for a legitimate review or follow-up process.
Improve One Variable at a Time
Reason: Changing the audience, subject, message, timing, and CTA together makes the next result harder to interpret.
Action: Make focused changes and compare the next reporting period.
