BizStackPro Calendar Help Guide

The In-App Calendar View

View appointments, blocked time, and synced events in one place, then filter, schedule, and manage your calendar without leaving BizStackPro.

Quick Answer

What can you manage from the in-app calendar?

Open the Calendars module to view appointments, blocked time, and synced events. You can switch between Day, Week, and Month views, filter by users, calendars, groups, or event type, book appointments, block time, edit existing events, and add internal appointment notes.

Managing Your Schedule Inside BizStackPro

The in-app calendar brings appointments, blocked time, and synchronized calendar events together in one scheduling view.

Instead of moving between several tools to understand your availability, you can review the schedule, create appointments, block time, and manage existing bookings directly inside BizStackPro.

The calendar can also help teams compare schedules by displaying selected users, calendars, or calendar groups.

Filters and calendar-view options make it easier to focus on the part of the schedule that matters without displaying every event at the same time.

The in-app calendar is an operational view

Use it to manage appointments and availability. Use Calendar Settings when you need to change booking rules, calendar connections, forms, payments, notifications, or other configuration options.

Before You Begin

Identify what you need to review or change before adjusting the calendar display.

  • Confirm which user, calendar, or group you need to review.
  • Decide whether you need to see appointments, blocked time, or both.
  • Choose whether Day, Week, or Month view fits the task.
  • Confirm the correct time zone before creating or blocking time.
  • Identify the contact before manually booking an appointment.
  • Prepare any internal information that should be added as an appointment note.
  • Use Calendar Settings instead when the issue involves booking rules or availability configuration.

Step 1: Access the In-App Calendar

Open the Calendars module to review appointments and blocked time from one central scheduling area.

Open the Dashboard Menu

Use the main BizStackPro navigation menu.

Select Calendars

Open the Calendars module.

Review the Current Schedule

The calendar displays the events included by the current view and filter settings.

Confirm the Displayed Date

Check the selected date or date range before reviewing, creating, or changing events.

Step 2: Switch Between Calendar Views

Choose the calendar layout that provides the clearest view of the schedule you are managing.

Day View

Focus on one day when you need to review appointment spacing, blocked time, or a detailed daily schedule.

Week View

Compare several days when planning workload, reviewing team coverage, or looking for available appointment periods.

Month View

Review the broader schedule when you need to understand booking volume, upcoming events, or general availability.

Depending on the account view, additional quick-day or horizontal layouts may also be available.

Filter first when the calendar is crowded

When several users or calendars are displayed, narrow the selection before changing the Day, Week, or Month layout. This can make the schedule easier to read.

Step 3: Filter the Calendar View

In-App Calendar Best Practices

Filter Before Reviewing a Busy Schedule
Reason: Displaying every user, calendar, and event type can make the schedule difficult to read.
Action: Select only the users, calendars, groups, and event types needed for the task.
Use the Right Calendar View
Reason: Day, Week, and Month views answer different scheduling questions.
Action: Use Day for detail, Week for workload, and Month for broader schedule awareness.
Confirm the User and Calendar Before Booking
Reason: A manually created appointment can be placed on the wrong calendar or assigned to the wrong user.
Action: Review the selected contact, calendar, user, date, and time before saving.
Use Clear Blocked-Time Reasons
Reason: Unclear blocked-time labels can make schedule changes harder to understand later.
Action: Add a short internal reason that explains why the time is unavailable.
Review the Time Zone
Reason: An incorrect time zone can place appointments or blocked time at the wrong hour.
Action: Confirm the displayed and event time zones before saving.
Use Notes for Operational Context
Reason: Useful notes help team members prepare without searching through unrelated systems.
Action: Add concise, relevant internal notes and rely on timestamps and author information for accountability.
