How To Use the Email Builder

Design branded templates and high-performing campaigns in BizStackPro. Customize layouts, format content fast, run A/B tests, and optimize everything for mobile and desktop.

Designing Emails That Stay Consistent and Perform Better

You may be creating emails, but having a consistent structure makes your campaigns easier to build and more effective over time.

The Email Builder gives you tools to design templates, customize layouts, and reuse content so you don’t have to start from scratch each time.

Without a clear structure, emails can feel inconsistent and take longer to create.

This guide will show you how to use the Email Builder so you can design faster and keep your campaigns consistent.

Once you understand how the builder works, follow the sections below to create templates, customize layouts, test variations, and optimize your emails inside your BizStackPro account.

Overview

The Email Builder helps you create reusable templates and send campaigns to your audience. It’s built for speed: drag-and-drop design, inline editing, and mobile controls are all in one place.

  • Email Campaigns: Build, personalize, and manage delivery options.
  • Templates: Create reusable designs to keep your emails consistent.

Follow along: Start with a template first. Once it looks right, reuse it across campaigns to stay consistent and save time.

Creating Email Templates

  1. Click + New to create a template.
  2. Choose a starting point:
    • Template Library (industry templates)
    • Reuse a campaign (turn a campaign into a template)
    • Blank template (Plain Text, Design Editor, or Code Editor)
  3. Drag-and-drop blocks (text, image, button, divider, columns) into your layout.
  4. Adjust spacing, backgrounds, alignment, and button styles for clean design.
  5. Save frequently used sections/elements if your builder supports saved blocks.
  6. Click Save often while building.

Inline Editor Features

Click into any text element to access quick formatting controls so you can style content without leaving the builder.

  • Typography: headings, font styles, sizes, and colors
  • Layout: alignment, spacing, padding, and line height
  • Content tools: bullet lists, hyperlinks, and insertable custom values
  • Speed: AI-assisted drafting/refining (when available) for faster writing

Pro tip: Keep one β€œmaster template” for your brand and duplicate it. It’s the easiest way to stay consistent across every campaign.

Mobile Optimization

Most people open emails on mobile. Use mobile controls to keep content readable, clickable, and clean.

  • Column stacking: enable/disable stacking for better mobile flow
  • Images: set full-width alignment when needed
  • Visibility: show/hide elements by device type (mobile vs desktop)
  • Tap targets: keep buttons big and spaced for thumbs

Quick check: If your email feels β€œtight” on mobile, reduce columns and increase spacing before you send.

Saving, Previewing, and Testing

  • Save: store templates for repeat use and consistent branding.
  • Preview: check desktop and mobile views before sending.
  • Test: send test emails to a real inbox (Gmail, Outlook, mobile) to confirm spacing and rendering.
  • Version history: use it when available to roll back changes safely.

Creating and Scheduling Campaigns

  1. Go to Marketing β†’ Emails β†’ Campaigns.
  2. Create a campaign and select an existing template.
  3. Edit the content for the specific promotion or message.
  4. Choose delivery (send now, schedule, or other available options like batch sending).
  5. Connect campaigns to automations when you want consistent follow-up messaging.

Follow along: Templates keep your design consistent. Campaigns are where you swap the message and choose who gets it.

A/B Testing for Optimization

A/B testing helps you learn what your audience responds to. Test a subject line, CTA button text, or a key section of the email.

  • Choose what to test (subject, content, CTA, etc.).
  • Send multiple variations to a small test group.
  • Automatically send the best-performing version to the rest of your list.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I test different email elements?

Use A/B testing to compare subject lines, email content, or CTAs. Send up to 6 variations to a test audience, then automatically send the winner to the rest.

What types of templates are available?

Templates include a library for many industries, plus blank templates using Plain Text, Design Editor, or Code Editor.

How can I optimize emails for mobile devices?

Use column stacking, full-width image alignment, and device-based visibility controls to tailor layouts for mobile screens.

Build Once. Reuse Everywhere.

Create a strong template, optimize it for mobile, then reuse it across campaigns. Add A/B tests when you want to improve performance without rebuilding.
