This guide will show you how to set up donation forms so contributions are easy to submit and track.
Once you understand how donation settings work, follow the steps below to configure payment options, suggest amounts, and collect donations inside your BizStackPro forms.
Overview
Donation forms let you collect a set donation amount or allow donors to enter their own amount. You can also offer suggested amounts, include an “Other” amount option, choose your currency, and switch between Live and Test mode while you build.
How to Set It Up
- Go to Sites in the left navigation.
- Open Forms, then from the dropdown select Builder.
- Click + Add Form (top right).
- Drag the Collect Payment element onto your form canvas.
- Use the right-hand panel to configure donation settings.
Follow along: Sites → Forms → Builder → + Add Form → drag Collect Payment → configure → save → preview.
Key Settings
- Live Mode: Toggle on for real payments. Toggle off to test without charging.
- Payment Type:
- Collect Payment — collect a fixed donation amount.
- Sell Product — sell an existing product (requires a product in Payments > Products).
- Suggest an Amount: Add preset donation amounts donors can tap/click to select.
- Include Other Amount: Allows donors to enter a custom donation amount even when presets are shown.
- Select Currency: Choose the currency you want to receive payments in.
Pro tip: Keep 3–5 suggested amounts (example: low / mid / high) and always include Other so donors can give what feels right.
