Quick Answer
Use the calendar’s three-dot menu to disable or enable the service
Open the Calendars section, locate the calendar, open its three-dot menu, and select Disable Service. To restore it later, open the same menu and select Enable Service.
Pausing Bookings Without Deleting Your Calendar Setup
You may need to stop bookings temporarily without removing the calendar or rebuilding its configuration later.
Disabling a calendar service lets you pause access while keeping the calendar’s settings, availability, meeting details, forms, payment options, and other configuration intact.
This is useful when a service is seasonal, temporarily unavailable, affected by limited staffing, or being updated.
Deleting a calendar is a more permanent action and may require you to recreate its setup. When the pause is temporary, disabling the service is usually the safer option.
