Client Portal: Subscription Management

View and manage subscriptions, invoices, and saved cards in one place—cancel plans, filter records, and keep billing organized directly from the Client Portal.

Keeping Billing Clear and Under Control

You may need to check a subscription, download an invoice, or update a payment method, but the information can feel scattered or unclear when it’s not all in one place.

Subscription management brings billing details, active plans, invoices, and saved payment methods into a single area where users can review and manage everything tied to their account.

When billing information isn’t centralized, it leads to confusion, missed updates, and unnecessary support requests just to handle routine account tasks.

This guide will show you how subscription management is structured so you can review plans, access invoices, manage payment methods, and understand how control is handled within the portal.

To start, it helps to understand what subscription management includes and how it organizes billing information.

What Subscription Management Lets You Do

Subscription Management is your billing hub inside the Client Portal. It gives customers a clear place to review plan status, download invoices, and manage payment methods—without needing to contact support.

  • Centralized control: Subscriptions, invoices, and cards in one view.
  • Cancel easily: End subscriptions with a few clicks.
  • Invoice access: View and download invoices anytime.
  • Smart filters: Sort by source, status, or date range.
  • Admin controls: Restrict access via app permissions if needed.

Follow along: Open the Client Portal → profile icon → Manage your AccountBilling & Subscription.

Step 1: Access Subscription Management

  1. Log into your Client Portal.
  2. Click your profile in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Manage your AccountBilling & Subscription.

If you don’t see it: An admin may have disabled access via app permissions.

Step 2: View & Manage Subscriptions

On the Subscriptions view, you can see current and past subscriptions, verify status, and take action quickly.

  • View: See active and inactive subscriptions in one place.
  • Cancel: Select a subscription → click Cancel → confirm to finalize cancellation.
  • Filter: Narrow results by source, status, or date range.

Note: If the subscription is tied to a course or community, access is revoked immediately after cancellation is confirmed.

Step 3: View & Download Invoices

Use the Invoices tab to review billing history and download receipts for accounting or expense tracking.

  • Open the Invoices tab.
  • Click an invoice to view details.
  • Use download to save a copy for your records.

Step 4: Manage Saved Cards

The Cards section helps keep payment methods up to date so subscriptions don’t fail.

  • View cards: See saved payment methods used for subscriptions.
  • Delete cards: Remove old cards (you may see a warning if a card is linked to an active subscription).
  • Update cards: Use the secure payment/update link when prompted to safely change details.

Admin Permissions

If you’re the portal owner/admin, you can control who can access Subscription Management. This is useful when multiple users share an account or when you want billing visible only to decision-makers.

Tip: If a user can’t find Billing & Subscription, check app permissions first before troubleshooting logins.
