Understanding URL Paths

Learn how domains and URL paths work together in BizStackPro—so you can set default pages, organize multiple funnels under one domain, and create clean, readable step URLs.

Making Sure Visitors Land on the Right Page Every Time

You may have your domain connected, but what visitors see depends on how your URL paths are set up.

URL paths control which page loads after your domain, allowing you to organize multiple funnels and pages under one site.

Without clear paths, users may land on the wrong page or struggle to navigate your content.

This guide will show you how to manage paths so your pages stay organized and your links work exactly as expected.

Once you understand how URL paths work, follow the steps below to set default pages, organize funnels, and create clean, structured URLs inside your BizStackPro setup.

What Is a URL Path?

A URL path is the part of the address that comes after your domain. It tells BizStackPro which page to load. This is how one domain can host many different pages and funnels without needing multiple domains.

Example:

www.demoexample.com → Default / Home page
www.demoexample.com/course → Funnel path
www.demoexample.com/course/checkout → Funnel step path

Pro tip: Keep paths short, readable, and consistent (use hyphens). This looks cleaner and helps with SEO and sharing.

Step 1: Set the Default Page for Your Domain

Your domain’s default page determines what loads when someone visits your root domain (no path).

  1. Go to Settings → Domains.
  2. Find your domain and click the Edit (pencil) icon.
  3. Choose a Default Page for the root domain.
  4. Save your changes and test the domain in an incognito window.

Follow along: If your traffic keeps landing on the wrong page, check that the domain’s default page is set correctly.

Step 2: Create Funnel Paths and Step URLs

BizStackPro lets you use the same domain for multiple funnels by giving each funnel a unique path, then assigning each step its own URL.

  1. Go to Sites → Funnels and open your funnel.
  2. Assign the funnel to the correct Domain in funnel settings.
  3. Set a funnel-level path (example: /course-funnel) to keep funnels separated.
  4. Open Funnel Steps → Publishing (or your publishing settings).
  5. Edit each step’s path (example: /checkout, /thank-you).

Example structure:
https://www.demoexample.com/course-funnel
https://www.demoexample.com/course-funnel/checkout
https://www.demoexample.com/course-funnel/thank-you

Why URL Paths Matter

  • Organization: Keep multiple funnels cleanly separated under one domain.
  • Branding: Share short, professional URLs that make sense to visitors.
  • Flexibility: Control exactly what loads when someone visits different paths.
  • Scaling: Launch more funnels without buying more domains.
