Sync Your Invoices with Wave Accounting – BizStackPro Help

Sync Your Invoices with Wave Accounting

Push new or updated invoices from BizStackPro to Wave automatically—so your bookkeeping stays current without duplicate entry.

Keeping Your Invoices Organized Without Extra Work

You may be creating invoices in BizStackPro, but your accounting system still needs those same records.

Syncing with Wave allows your invoices to automatically appear in your accounting software without manual entry.

Without this setup, you may end up duplicating work or missing important records in your bookkeeping.

This guide will show you how to connect Wave so your invoices stay organized and consistent across both systems.

Once you understand how the Wave integration works, follow the steps below to connect your account, manage syncing, and keep your invoices aligned inside your BizStackPro setup.

What This Integration Does

The Wave integration helps you keep invoices aligned across systems by syncing new or updated invoices from BizStackPro to your Wave account.

  • One-way sync: BizStackPro → Wave
  • Post-setup only: Only invoices created/updated after setup will sync
  • Payment status not included: Paid/partially paid must be updated manually in Wave

Follow along: Connect Wave → pick the correct Wave account → create one test invoice in BizStackPro → verify it appears in Wave.

What Is Wave Accounting?

Wave is small-business accounting software used for invoicing and basic bookkeeping. When paired with BizStackPro, it helps you avoid recreating invoices manually—while still keeping Wave as your source of truth for payment status tracking.

Set Up the Wave Integration

  1. Go to SettingsIntegrationsWave and click Manage.
  2. Connect your Wave account and approve the requested permissions.
  3. Select the Wave account where you want BizStackPro invoices to sync.
  4. Click Save. From this point forward, new or updated invoices in BizStackPro will sync to Wave.

Pro tip: Choose your Wave account carefully before going live—switching later can create confusion in reporting.

Behavior & Limitations

  • One-way sync only: Changes in Wave do not sync back into BizStackPro.
  • No historical backfill: Invoices created before the integration is connected will not sync.
  • No payment status sync: Marking invoices as paid/partially paid is done manually in Wave.
  • Manage any time: You can update settings or disconnect via Settings → Integrations → Wave.

Best practice: Pick a “cutover” date. Keep older invoices where they already live and start syncing from that date forward.
