How to Add Quick Filters
- Open the dashboard you want to customize.
- Click the Quick Filters button at the top.
- Select + Add Quick Filters.
- Browse or search for filters from available data sources.
- Select your desired filters and click Add.
- Optionally add descriptions, then click Apply.
Note: Users with edit (or full) access can create Quick Filters. View-only users can still apply the filters that already exist.
How to Use Quick Filters
- Open the dashboard that has Quick Filters configured.
- Select the filters you want from the Quick Filter bar.
- Adjust values (like user, date range, status, etc.).
- Your widgets will update automatically when the filter applies to their data source.
Important: Quick Filters affect only your view and only impact widgets that share the same data source as the selected filter property.
How Quick Filters Work With Widget Filters
Quick Filters work alongside widget-level filters using AND logic. That means both must be true for data to display.
Example: If a widget is filtered to show Confirmed appointments, and your Quick Filter is set to Cancelled, you may see no results because the filters conflict.

- Use widget filters for highly specific conditions that should always be true.
- Use Quick Filters for broader exploration across multiple widgets.
- Avoid conflicting values to prevent “empty dashboard” views.
- Start with 1–3 Quick Filters to keep the dashboard simple and readable.
