Customizing The Dashboard – BizStackPro Help

Customizing The Dashboard

Add widgets, apply filters, and use titles, text boxes, UTM tracking, and themes to build dashboards that make reporting faster and easier inside BizStackPro.

Building a Dashboard That Matches How You Work

You may have access to dashboard data, but if it’s not organized the right way, it can be hard to use effectively.

Customizing your dashboard lets you control what data you see, how it’s displayed, and how quickly you can act on it.

Without customization, dashboards can become cluttered or fail to highlight what actually matters.

This guide will show you how to build a dashboard that fits your workflow and makes key insights easier to see.

Once you understand how dashboard customization works, follow the steps below to add widgets, apply filters, and organize your layout inside your BizStackPro account.

How to Customize Your Dashboard

Dashboards in BizStackPro are built from widgets. You can add new widgets, filter what they show, change how they’re displayed, and organize them with titles and notes so your team can scan key KPIs quickly.

Follow along: Dashboard → Edit (or Add Widget) → choose a widget → configure filters/visualization → Save.

Using the Lost Reason Filter (Opportunities)

If you want to understand why deals are being lost, add an Opportunities widget and apply a Lost Reason filter. This is a fast way to spot patterns and improve your follow-up or offer.

  1. Open dashboard edit mode and click Add Widget.
  2. Select Opportunities (or an Opportunity-related widget).
  3. In the Conditions (or Filters) area, choose Lost Reason.
  4. Select the reasons you want to track and save the widget.
  5. Choose a visualization (pie, bar, or table) that’s easiest to scan.

Pro tip: Combine Lost Reason with additional filters (pipeline, owner, date range) to find the real bottleneck.

Opportunity Widgets with UTM and Attribution

Use attribution options to analyze campaign performance through UTM fields like Campaign, Source, and Medium. This helps you see where your best opportunities are coming from.

  • Edit a dashboard → Add a widget → select Opportunities.
  • Open the Conditions tab and set an Attribution Type (First or Latest).
  • For UTM detail columns, use Table or Granular views (where available).

Add Titles, Text Boxes, and Images

Use dashboard elements to make your dashboard easier to understand and maintain—especially if multiple people rely on it.

  • Titles: Create section headers to group widgets by purpose (Sales, Support, Marketing, etc.).
  • Text boxes: Add short instructions, definitions, or quick links for your team.
  • Images: Insert logos, reference charts, or quick visual guides (useful for training dashboards).

Widget Duplication

Duplicating a widget is perfect when you want the same metric with a different channel, date range, owner, or pipeline filter.

  1. Open dashboard Edit mode.
  2. Open the widget 3-dot menu.
  3. Select Duplicate.
  4. Adjust filters/visualization and Save.

Instant Dashboard Insights

Some reports (like Opportunities or Appointments reports) include a Dashboard Insights option that lets you add widgets to a dashboard instantly—without leaving the report view.

Themes, Contact Source, and Opportunity Source

  • Themes: Use the Theme tab (when editing) to match dashboard styling to your brand.
  • Contact Source: Add a Source condition to contact widgets to track acquisition origins.
  • Opportunity Source: Use a Source filter on opportunity widgets to measure pipeline performance by origin.

Pro Tips

  • Stack filters intentionally: Use 2–3 filters to get clarity without overcomplicating the widget.
  • Keep it scannable: Put your “daily” KPIs at the top and deep-dive widgets below.
  • Refresh regularly: Update widgets as your pipelines, campaigns, and team workflow evolve.
