Quick Answer
How do you customize a BizStackPro dashboard?
Open the Dashboard, enter Edit mode or choose Add Widget, select the widget or dashboard element you need, configure its filters and visualization options, arrange the layout, and save your changes. You can also duplicate widgets, add titles or text boxes, apply attribution and source filters, and adjust themes where those options are available.
Building a Dashboard That Matches How You Work
You may have access to useful dashboard data, but if the information is not organized around the way you work, it can be harder to use effectively.
BizStackPro dashboards are built from widgets and dashboard elements. You can add new widgets, change what they display, apply filters, choose different visualizations, and organize the page with titles, text, or other elements.
Customization gives you more control over which KPIs appear first, how different business areas are separated, and how deeply you want to filter or segment the data.
Without customization, dashboards can become cluttered or fail to highlight what matters most. A more focused layout makes the information easier to scan and act on.
Start with the dashboard goal
Before adding widgets, decide what the dashboard is supposed to help you understand. Then choose widgets, filters, and layout elements that support that specific purpose.
Dashboard Customization at a Glance
Before You Begin
A little planning helps prevent a customized dashboard from becoming more complicated than the original.
- Decide which KPIs or business questions belong on the dashboard.
- Put daily or high-priority metrics near the top.
- Decide which filters are necessary before stacking several conditions on one widget.
- Choose visualizations that make the data easy to understand.
- Use titles and text elements to separate different reporting areas when needed.
- Review the dashboard periodically as pipelines, campaigns, and team workflows change.
Using the Lost Reason Filter for Opportunities
A Lost Reason filter can help you understand why opportunities are being lost and identify patterns that may deserve attention.
Open Dashboard Edit Mode
Open the dashboard and enter Edit mode.
Add an Opportunities Widget
Click Add Widget and select an Opportunities or opportunity-related widget.
Add the Lost Reason Condition
Open the Conditions or available Filters area and select Lost Reason.
Select the Reasons
Choose the lost reasons you want the widget to track.
Choose the Visualization
Select an available view such as a pie chart, bar chart, or table that makes the results easy to review.
Save the Widget
Save the widget and review the data for recurring patterns.
Add context with additional filters
Combine Lost Reason with filters such as pipeline, owner, or date range when you need a more focused view of where losses are happening.
Opportunity Widgets with UTM and Attribution
Attribution options can help you analyze campaign performance and understand where opportunities are coming from.
Opportunity widgets can use attribution information such as Campaign, Source, and Medium to support acquisition and campaign analysis.
Add an Opportunity Widget
Edit the dashboard, choose Add Widget, and select the appropriate Opportunities widget.
Open Conditions
Open the widget's Conditions settings.
Select Attribution Type
Choose an Attribution Type such as First or Latest.
Choose the Appropriate View
When detailed UTM columns are needed, use Table or Granular views where those options are available.
Add Titles, Text Boxes, and Images
Dashboard elements can make the reporting layout easier to understand, especially when several people use the same dashboard.
Titles
Add section headings to group related widgets around areas such as Sales, Support, Marketing, or another reporting purpose.
Text Boxes
Add short instructions, definitions, notes, or useful links for people using the dashboard.
Images
Add logos, reference charts, or visual guides when an image helps explain or organize the dashboard.
Widget Duplication
Duplicating a widget is useful when you want to reuse the same metric but change a filter such as channel, date range, owner, or pipeline.
Open Edit Mode
Open the dashboard in Edit mode.
Open the Widget Menu
Open the widget's 3-dot menu.
Select Duplicate
Choose Duplicate to create a copy of the widget.
Adjust the New Widget
Change the filters, visualization, or other settings for the duplicated widget.
Save
Save the updated widget to the dashboard.
Instant Dashboard Insights
Some reports, including Opportunities or Appointments reports, may provide a Dashboard Insights option.
This can let you add a widget to a dashboard directly from the report view instead of leaving the report and rebuilding the same insight manually.
Use the report when it already shows what you need
When Dashboard Insights is available, it can provide a faster way to carry a useful report view into your dashboard.
Themes, Contact Source, and Opportunity Source
Themes
Use the Theme tab while editing, when available, to adjust dashboard styling to better match your brand or preferred presentation.
Contact Source
Add a Source condition to contact widgets when you want to analyze contact acquisition origins.
Opportunity Source
Use a Source filter on opportunity widgets when you want to compare pipeline performance by origin.
