BizStackPro Contacts Help Guide

How to Restore Deleted Contacts

Learn how to recover deleted contacts individually or in bulk so accidentally removed records can be returned to your Contacts list.

Quick Answer

How do you restore a deleted contact in BizStackPro?

Go to Contacts → Restore, select the deleted contact, click Restore, and confirm the action. For a larger deleted group, open Contacts → Bulk Actions, locate the previous delete action, open its three-dot menu, and choose Restore.

How Contact Restoration Works

A contact may be deleted accidentally while cleaning up records or working with a larger group of contacts.

BizStackPro provides recovery options that let you restore deleted contacts individually or recover a larger group through Bulk Actions.

Once restored, the contact returns to the main Contacts list so you can continue working with the record.

Deleted contacts can be recovered

Use the Restore area for individual or selected contacts, or return to the original delete job in Bulk Actions when restoring a larger batch.

  • Sign in to your BizStackPro account.
  • Open the Contacts area.
  • Decide whether you need an individual or bulk restore.
  • Use Contacts → Restore when selecting specific deleted contacts.
  • Use Contacts → Bulk Actions when restoring a previous delete job.
  • Confirm the restored contacts return to the main Contacts list after recovery.

Step 1: How Contacts Are Deleted

Understanding the delete process helps you know where to look when a contact needs to be restored.

Open Contacts

Go to Contacts.

Select the Contact Records

Select one or more contacts you want to delete.

Use the Trashcan Icon

Click the trashcan icon to delete the selected contacts.

You can also delete an individual contact from inside that person's contact record.

Consider exporting before a large cleanup

If you are removing a large group of duplicate or outdated contacts, keeping an export can give you a reference copy of the original data.

Step 2: Restore Contacts Individually

Use the Restore area when you want to recover one or more selected deleted contacts.

Open Restore

Go to Contacts → Restore.

Select the Contacts

Check the box next to the contact or contacts you want to recover.

Click Restore

Click Restore in the available restore controls.

Confirm the Restoration

Confirm the restore action in the popup window.

Verify the Contact

Return to the main Contacts list and confirm the restored contact appears again.

Step 3: Restore Contacts in Bulk

Use Bulk Actions when you need to recover a larger group from a previous delete action.

Open Bulk Actions

Go to Contacts → Bulk Actions.

Find the Delete Action

Locate the previous delete action in the Bulk Actions list.

Open the Actions Menu

Click the three-dot Actions menu next to the delete action.

Select Restore

Choose Restore and confirm the action.

Check the Restore Status

Monitor the Status column. When the restore finishes, the status typically shows Complete.

Confirm the Contacts Returned

Check the main Contacts list to make sure the restored records are available again.

Contact Restore Best Practices

Export Before Large Deletions
Reason: An export gives you a reference copy when cleaning up a large number of contacts.
Use the Correct Restore Method
Reason: Contacts → Restore is useful for selected records, while Bulk Actions is useful when reversing a larger previous delete job.
Verify the Results
Reason: Confirming the contacts returned to the main list helps you know the recovery completed successfully.
