Default Dashboards

Set one dashboard as the default view for your entire account so your team sees the right KPIs the moment they log in.

Making Sure Your Team Sees the Right Data First

You may have multiple dashboards available, but without a clear starting point, your team might not focus on the right data.

A default dashboard ensures that everyone sees the same key metrics as soon as they log in.

Without a shared starting view, reporting can become inconsistent and harder to manage.

This guide will show you how to set and manage a default dashboard so your team stays aligned from the start.

Once you understand how default dashboards work, follow the steps below to set one, manage permissions, and keep your reporting consistent inside your BizStackPro account.

What Default Dashboards Do

A Default Dashboard is the dashboard that loads first for users in your account. It helps you standardize the metrics your team sees, align everyone around the same priorities, and reduce confusion when multiple dashboards exist.

Best use: Use a Default Dashboard to highlight top KPIs (pipeline, appointments, conversations, opt-ins) so your team starts each day focused.

Core Features of Default Dashboards

  • Admin-controlled: Admins (or full-access users) set which dashboard loads first.
  • Instant visibility: Users see key widgets immediately after login.
  • Consistency: Everyone starts with the same baseline reporting and priorities.

How to Set a Default Dashboard

  1. Go to your Dashboard.
  2. Open the dashboard you want to make the default.
  3. Click the three-dot menu (top right).
  4. Select Set as Default.
  5. Confirm the popup to save.

Note: If you don’t see the “Set as Default” option, you likely don’t have the required permissions.

Use Cases

  • Customer Support: Show unread conversations, response time KPIs, and assignment distribution.
  • Sales: Highlight pipeline stages, opportunities created, and appointments booked.
  • Marketing: Track funnel views, opt-ins, and top-performing sources/UTMs.

Important Notes

  • Permission required: Only admins or full-access users can set a default dashboard.
  • Deletion rule: You can’t delete the current default dashboard. Assign another default first.
  • Pinned vs default: Pinned is personal. Default is shared across the account.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Default Dashboard?

It’s the first dashboard users see after login. It’s ideal for shared KPIs and team alignment.

Can different teams have their own Default Dashboard?

Not at the same time. Only one default dashboard can be active for the account, but you can change it when needed.

How does it help with data consistency?

Everyone starts with the same reporting view, reducing confusion and improving collaboration.

Why can’t I see the “Set as Default” option?

You likely don’t have admin or full access. Ask an admin to update your permissions or set it for you.
