Where to Check Statistics for Emails

Monitor email performance in BizStackPro to understand deliverability, opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes, and overall campaign success.

Understanding What Your Email Data Is Telling You

You may be sending emails regularly, but without looking at the data, it’s hard to know what’s actually working.

Email statistics show how your messages are delivered, opened, clicked, or rejected, giving you insight into performance and issues.

Without tracking these metrics, problems like low engagement or high bounce rates can go unnoticed.

This guide will show you where to find your email stats so you can understand performance and improve future campaigns.

Once you understand what these metrics mean, use the sections below to review performance, identify issues, and optimize your email campaigns inside your BizStackPro account.

Email Status Definitions

  • Delivered: The sending provider (SMTP) confirmed the email reached the recipient server.
  • Opened: The email was opened (tracking typically relies on a tracking pixel and images being enabled).
  • Clicked: A tracked link inside the email was clicked.
  • Bounced:
    • Soft bounce: Temporary issue (mailbox full, server busy/unavailable, rate limits).
    • Hard bounce: Permanent issue (invalid address, blocked domain, policy rejection).
  • Unsubscribed: The recipient opted out and should not receive future marketing emails.
  • Failed: Delivery failed due to issues like invalid configuration, invalid address formatting, or provider errors.

Tip: If “Opened” seems low, remember opens can be undercounted when recipients block images or privacy features limit tracking. Clicks are usually the more reliable engagement signal.

Check Email Analytics in Settings

For a quick top-level snapshot across sending activity, use Email Analytics in your settings.

  1. Go to Settings → Email Services → Email Analytics.
  2. Select a date range (Last hour, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or Custom).
  3. Review metrics like Sent, Delivered, Opened, Clicked, Complained, and Bounced.

Campaign-Level Statistics

For detailed performance on a single campaign (including deep breakdowns), use the Campaign Statistics view.

  1. Go to Marketing → Campaigns.
  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the campaign.
  3. Select Statistics.
  4. Use Load More Statistics (when available) to view extended details.

Overall Campaign Analytics

If you want a “big picture” view of your top-performing campaigns and engagement trends, check your Campaign Analytics area.

  • Top campaigns ranked by opens and clicks.
  • Engagement summary (emails sent, unique opens, unique clicks, and other summary metrics).
  • Conversion metrics (when purchase tracking / attribution is enabled).

Other Places to Find Email Stats

  • Bulk Actions: Go to Contacts, run your bulk email action, then open Bulk Actions and use Show Stats.
  • Workflow Emails: Go to Automation → Workflows, open your workflow, select the Send Email action, then open Statistics (or View All) for details.

Quick troubleshooting checklist

  • High bounces? Validate your list and check domain authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC).
  • Low clicks? Tighten the CTA and ensure links are obvious and mobile-friendly.
  • Complaints rising? Reduce frequency, improve targeting, and make unsubscribing easy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do Delivered and Opened statuses mean?

Delivered means SMTP confirmed delivery to the recipient server. Opened indicates the email was opened (tracking can be affected by image blocking and privacy settings).

What are soft and hard bounces?

Soft bounces are temporary delivery issues. Hard bounces are permanent delivery failures due to invalid or blocked addresses.

Where can I see detailed statistics for campaigns?

Go to Marketing → Campaigns, click the three-dot menu next to the campaign, and select Statistics.

What happens when someone unsubscribes?

They are opted out and should not receive future marketing emails. This helps maintain compliance and sender reputation.

Can I track stats for workflow emails?

Yes. Open Automation → Workflows, select the workflow’s Send Email action, and view its Statistics.

Want better deliverability and clearer reporting?

When your authentication and list hygiene are solid, your stats become easier to trust (and inbox placement improves). BizStackPro gives you the tools to track performance and tighten up your email system.
