Shopify Integration – BizStackPro Help

Shopify Integration

Sync products, collections, contacts, orders, and transactions between Shopify and BizStackPro so your store and marketing run from one system.

Connecting Your Store Data to Your Marketing System

You may be running a Shopify store, but your customer data and marketing tools may not be fully connected.

Integrating Shopify allows your products, orders, and customer activity to flow directly into BizStackPro.

Without this connection, automations, follow-ups, and revenue tracking may be incomplete or disconnected.

This guide will show you how to connect your store so your data works together and your marketing becomes more effective.

Once you understand how the Shopify integration works, follow the steps below to connect your store, sync your data, and build automations inside your BizStackPro setup.

Why Integrate Shopify with BizStackPro?

The Shopify integration helps you centralize store data inside BizStackPro so you can trigger automations and track revenue from marketing.

  • Import and sync products, collections, contacts, orders, and transactions.
  • Use Shopify-specific values in workflows and automations.
  • Trigger workflows from events like Order Submitted and Payment Received.
  • Improve reporting—especially email campaign ROI—when orders are synced.

Follow along: Connect Shopify first, confirm data is flowing, then layer automation on top (tags, sequences, abandoned follow-ups, VIP segments, etc.).

Set Up the Integration

  1. Create or log into your Shopify account.
  2. Enable custom app development: In Shopify, go to AppsDevelop apps, allow custom app development, then click Create an app.
  3. Configure Admin API scopes: Enable at least the scopes you need (commonly read_orders and read_products), then save and install the app.
  4. Copy your Admin API access token: Under API Credentials, click Reveal token once and copy it securely.
  5. Connect in BizStackPro: Go to SettingsIntegrationsShopify. Paste your token and store URL, then choose what to import/sync (products, collections, contacts, orders, transactions).
  6. Click Save and allow time for the initial sync to complete.

Pro tip: Shopify shows the token only once—store it in a password manager or secrets vault immediately.

Important Notes & Sync Rules

  • Taxes: Taxes are not mapped when products are imported or synced.
  • Transactions: Each synced order typically associates to a single transaction record in BizStackPro.
  • Order status: Orders may map to statuses such as Completed or Cancelled based on Shopify’s status.
  • Merged contacts: When Shopify contacts are merged, BizStackPro updates the primary Shopify contact.
  • SEO fields: If product SEO fields weren’t customized in Shopify, SEO values may sync as null.

Tip: If you care about SEO data inside BizStackPro, populate Shopify product SEO fields (title/description) before doing a large-scale import.

Removing or Reassigning an Existing Store Connection

If your Shopify store is already connected elsewhere, you may need to remove the existing connection before integrating it with a different location/account context. This is especially useful for multi-location setups.

If you missed data: You can often fix an incomplete initial sync by disconnecting and reconnecting—then re-importing the needed elements.

Track Shopify Revenue in Email Campaign Metrics

When Shopify order syncing is enabled, BizStackPro can display Shopify orders and attributed revenue inside email campaign conversion metrics.

  1. Enable order syncing in the Shopify integration settings.
  2. Go to MarketingEmail Campaigns and open a campaign.
  3. Review the Conversion Metrics section for Shopify orders and attributed revenue.

Pro tip: Track ROI by pairing post-purchase automations with clean segmentation (first-time buyer, repeat buyer, VIP) to raise LTV.

Automation Triggers You Can Use

Once connected, you can build workflows that respond to Shopify activity.

  • Order Submitted trigger
  • Payment Received trigger

Example: Payment Received → tag customer as Shopify Buyer → send receipt/help email → add to post-purchase nurture.

Want your Shopify data to power automations and ROI tracking?

BizStackPro connects store activity to workflows, campaigns, and reporting—so marketing decisions can be made with real revenue visibility.
