Recurring Products in E-commerce Stores

Add subscription billing to your store—set a recurring price on products, tailor the storefront UI, and publish changes so your live site looks exactly like the builder.

Set Up a Recurring Product

Recurring products let you sell subscriptions (monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc.) directly through your BizStackPro store. Each product supports one billing cycle, so create separate products if you want multiple cadence options.

  • Go to Payments → Products.
  • Edit an existing item or click Add Product (you can also Duplicate a product).
  • Enable a recurring price and select the billing interval.
  • Toggle Include in online store so it appears in your storefront.
  • Click Save.

Follow along: Payments → Products → Add/Edit → set Recurring pricing → enable Include in online storeSave.

Customize the Storefront UI

Use the store builder to match your subscription experience to your brand—small UI tweaks can make checkout feel cleaner and more trustworthy.

  • Open Sites → Websites/Stores and launch your store in the builder.
  • Adjust pill colors and pill text colors for subscription UI elements.
  • In the Navigation Menu Element settings, toggle the cart icon on/off.
  • Review product descriptions (the “show more” behavior is height-based).

Pro tip: Keep subscription labels extremely clear (Monthly / Quarterly / Annual). If you want multiple billing options, create separate products and name them so customers instantly understand what they’re choosing.

Storefront Behaviors to Know

These small behaviors help you predict what customers will see (and reduce “why did it do that?” moments).

  • Variant images in cart: Cart items can show variant-specific images.
  • Description “show more”: Expands based on content height (especially noticeable with long copy).
  • Continue Shopping: Routes customers back to the product list page.

Example: If you have a “Monthly Membership” and “Quarterly Membership,” duplicate the product and change only the billing cadence + title. This keeps the offer consistent while giving customers a clear choice.

Save & Publish All Store Pages

After any changes—product updates or store styling—always publish all store pages. This keeps the live site aligned with what you see in the builder.

  • Save your changes in the builder.
  • Publish every store page (not just the one you were editing).
  • Re-check the live store to confirm pills, cart icon, and layout match.

Want to sell subscriptions without duct-taping tools together?
