Manual payments let customers check out online and pay offline (pickup/delivery). You then record payment inside Orders for clean tracking.

Set Up Manual Payment Methods

Go to Payments → Integrations
Select Manual Payment Methods
Choose Cash on Delivery (COD) or add a Custom Payment Method
Add Payment Instructions (optional but recommended)
Enable the method for checkout on the target Order Form, E-commerce Store, or Forms/Surveys
Click Save

Follow along: Add instructions customers can copy/paste (bank details, reference format, where to pay, pickup rules).

Collect & Record Payments

When an order arrives, open Payments → Orders (often Pending)
Click Collect Payment
Choose a payment mode (cash, bank transfer, etc.) and add notes if needed
Click Mark as Paid to record payment on the order

Heads up: Once an order is marked Paid, it can’t be reverted—double-check before confirming.

Forms/Surveys note: Payment status in Orders also syncs to the Submissions area.

Use Manual Payments Exclusively

If you want checkout to offer only offline methods (no Stripe/online processors), you can run a manual-only setup.

Go to Payments → Integrations
Disconnect default online providers
Keep only COD and/or your Custom Payment Method enabled
Click Save

Products only: Manual payments are supported only for selling products
No subscriptions/donations: Not available for recurring/subscription products or specific-amount collections (like donations)
