  1. Go to Payments β†’ Invoices.
  2. Click the Settings gear icon.
  3. Open Notifications.
  4. Use the Email Template selector and the built-in Preview to review what sends.
  5. Edit or switch templates as needed, then save.

You can maintain separate templates for Customer and Team notifications, so internal updates and customer emails don’t have to match.

Create New Templates in Marketing

Want a fully custom design? Build your own templates in Marketing, then use them for invoice notifications.

  1. Go to Marketing β†’ Emails β†’ Templates.
  2. Create a new email template (logo, colors, layout, and your preferred wording).
  3. Save the template.
  4. Return to Payments β†’ Invoices β†’ Settings β†’ Notifications and select your new template.
