Import Kajabi Courses with Course Migrator

Move your Kajabi course content to BizStackPro—including hosted videos—using the guided import wizard. Track progress, fix login issues, and complete migration cleanly.

Moving Your Course Without Starting Over

If you already have a course built in another platform, rebuilding everything from scratch can feel time-consuming and unnecessary.

The course migrator allows you to import your existing course content, including lessons and hosted videos, into BizStackPro using a guided process.

Without proper setup, migrations can fail or result in missing content, which can slow down your transition and require extra cleanup work.

This guide will walk you through what’s required before importing and how to complete the migration so your course transfers as smoothly as possible.

Before starting the import, make sure everything is set up correctly to avoid common issues.

Before You Begin

A smooth migration comes down to three things: published content, correct Kajabi themes, and a correctly formatted learner login URL.

  • Published lessons only: Imports published lessons (text, images, hosted videos).
  • Not imported: Assignments, quizzes, and assessments won’t migrate.
  • Theme requirements: Use Premier for the course and Encore for the Library page.
  • Inline images: Images embedded in rich text may not always transfer—plan a quick post-import review.
  • Learner credentials: You’ll sign in with learner access (email + password) during import.

Important: Your Kajabi domain must be entered as the full learner login URL, including https:// and ending with /login.

Kajabi Login URL Format

Use the exact learner login page URL (not the homepage).

Example: https://yourdomain.kajabi.com/login

If you see authentication or import errors, this URL formatting is one of the first things to verify.

Import Steps

Follow along: Go to MembershipsCourses → (dropdown) Products.

  1. Click + Create Product.
  2. Select Import from Kajabi.
  3. Enter your learner email, learner password, and your full learner login URL (ends in /login).
  4. Click Import to start the migration.
  5. Keep the browser tab open and use Refresh in the wizard to view the latest status.

Note: The product may remain in processing until all videos finish copying. When complete, the status updates accordingly.

Track Import Progress

Video copying can take the longest. Don’t panic if lessons appear first while videos finish in the background.

  • Watch the wizard’s progress and status messages.
  • Use Refresh to pull the latest progress.
  • A course can stay processing until every video finishes copying.

Troubleshooting Common Errors

Authentication Error

  • Recheck the learner email and learner password.
  • Confirm the domain is the full login URL including https:// and ending in /login.

Course Import Failed

  • Verify Kajabi theme requirements: Premier (course) and Encore (Library).
  • Confirm your login URL points to the learner login page (ends in /login).
  • Re-enter credentials carefully and try again.

Resume behavior: If an import fails, use Retry to resume. If you click Cancel, the import is treated as canceled and a new attempt starts from the beginning.

Frequently Asked Questions

What content does the Course Migrator import from Kajabi?

Published lessons with text/images, plus hosted videos. Assignments, quizzes, and assessments are not imported.

How do I format the domain for import?

Use the full learner login URL including https:// and ending with /login (example: https://yourdomain.kajabi.com/login).

Why am I getting an authentication error?

Usually incorrect credentials or a misformatted login URL. Recheck learner email/password and confirm the URL ends in /login.

What causes a “course import failed” error?

Often themes, credentials, or the domain path. Confirm Premier/Encore themes, verify credentials, and ensure the URL points to /login.

Will images inside lesson text migrate?

Not always—images embedded in rich text may require re-upload after import.

Can I resume after a failed import or cancellation?

If it fails, use Retry to resume. If you cancel, a new import attempt starts over from the beginning.

How do I track import progress?

Use the wizard’s status and Refresh. A product can remain processing until all videos finish copying.
