Reusing Calendar Setups Without Starting From Scratch
You may need another calendar with similar settings, but rebuilding every option manually can take time and make it easier to miss an important detail.
Duplicating a calendar creates a new calendar based on an existing setup so you can reuse availability, notifications, forms, booking settings, and other configuration details.
After creating the duplicate, you can update the calendar name, assigned user, meeting location, payments, branding, and any other settings that need to be different.
This guide explains how to duplicate a calendar and review the new copy before using it with customers.
Calendar Duplication at a Glance
When Duplicating a Calendar Helps Most
New Service
Reuse the same availability, notifications, and booking rules, then update the service name, duration, or details.
New Team Member
Copy a proven calendar setup and then assign the duplicate to a different user or team member.
Testing Changes
Duplicate a live calendar before experimenting with new forms, availability rules, notifications, or booking settings.
Multiple Locations
Reuse forms and reminders, then update the meeting location, assigned staff, and location-specific instructions.
Before You Begin
Choose a source calendar that already contains the settings you want to reuse.
- Confirm that you are duplicating the correct calendar.
- Review the source calendar for outdated settings.
- Decide what the new calendar will be used for.
- Prepare a clear name for the duplicate.
- Identify the new assigned user or team.
- Confirm whether the location, form, payment, or notification settings need to change.
