Create SMTP Credentials For Dedicated Domain

Generate unique SMTP credentials for your dedicated sending domain so you can send securely, connect warm-up tools, and improve deliverability with proper authentication.

Sending Emails Securely Without Exposing Your Main Account

You may be sending emails from your domain, but using your main login for everything can create security and control issues.

SMTP credentials let you create separate access for sending so you can connect tools and manage email activity more securely.

Without proper setup, sending can become harder to manage and may impact deliverability.

This guide will show you how to create and manage SMTP credentials so your email system stays secure and reliable.

Once you understand how SMTP credentials work, follow the steps below to set up your domain, create users, and manage secure sending inside your BizStackPro account.

Before You Start

SMTP credentials are used for sending email from a dedicated domain. They’re especially useful when you want to connect third-party services (like warm-up tools) without using your primary mailbox login.

Pro tip: Verify your domain first, then create SMTP users. Authentication issues (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) are a common reason emails land in spam.

Navigate to SMTP Settings

  1. Open Settings in your BizStackPro dashboard.
  2. Choose Email Service (or Email settings).
  3. Open Dedicated Domain and IP to view your sending domains.

Follow along: Settings → Email Service → Dedicated Domain and IP → select your domain → open SMTP Settings.

Add and Verify a Dedicated Domain

  1. Click Add Domain, enter your domain, and save.
  2. Copy the DNS records provided by BizStackPro.
  3. Add those records in your domain registrar/DNS provider.
  4. Return to BizStackPro and click Verify.

Note: DNS changes can take time to propagate. If verification fails, double-check the record values and try again after propagation.

Create SMTP Credentials

  1. Locate your verified domain, click the three dots, and select SMTP Settings.
  2. Click the plus icon to create a new SMTP user.
  3. Enter a username and password, then click Create.
  4. Use those credentials to connect third-party tools (warm-up services, external senders, etc.).

Good to know: You can create up to 5 SMTP users per dedicated domain. Keep each user unique so you can revoke access without impacting everything.

Sending limits: If your plan or configuration enforces daily sending limits, stay within those limits to avoid interruptions. If your UI warns that exceeding the limit may remove credentials, treat that warning as high priority and pace sending accordingly.

Manage SMTP Credentials

  • Delete credentials: Open the user menu (three dots) → Delete → confirm.
  • Reset password: Open the user menu (three dots) → Reset Password → enter a new password → save.

Security tip: Use strong unique passwords and rotate them periodically—especially for SMTP users connected to third-party tools.

Direct Email Reception and IMAP Notes

SMTP handles sending. Receiving mail is typically handled by your mailbox provider (IMAP/POP), not by SMTP itself. If someone emails an address like [email protected], those messages can appear in your conversations depending on how your mailbox/channel is connected.

IMAP reminder: IMAP settings come from your email provider. Here’s a common example for Gmail:

  • IMAP Host: imap.gmail.com
  • Port: 993
  • Username: Your email address
  • Password: App password (recommended)

Deliverability Tips

  • Warm up new domains: Start with low volume and increase gradually.
  • Keep lists clean: Remove invalid addresses and avoid emailing unengaged contacts.
  • Verify DNS regularly: SPF/DKIM/DMARC issues can cause spam placement or rejections.
  • Separate users by purpose: Create different SMTP users for each tool/team for safer access control.
  • Monitor performance: If bounces/blocks spike, slow down and fix authentication + list quality first.
